Mongkok (West)
Mongkok is a dense area in Hong Kong, however, its western side, the Mongkok (West) is a purely residential area, the rent is not so high while the transportation is good.
Mong Kok preserves its traditional characteristics with an array of markets, small shops, and food stalls that have disappeared from other areas during the past several decades of economic developments and urban transformation.
The Mong Kok area has many curb-side “food-booths” selling traditional snacks such as fish balls, fried beancurd (tofu) and various dim sum. These fingerfood are very popular in Hong Kong, especially for folks on the run. In addition, there are restaurants serving different kinds of cuisine, ranging from Japanese to Thai to Italian.

Prince Edward
Prince Edward is an area in northern Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is adjacent to the Prince Edward Station of the MTR rapid transit system in Mong Kok. It is administratively under the Yau Tsim Mong District. It was named after the namesake road. It contains the northern end of Nathan Road. Strictly speaking it is not an area on its own, but the northern part of Mong Kok.
Although Prince Edward area is part of Mong Kok the following markets are closer to the Prince Edward Station.
